    Had a Beretta Neos .22 with a Red Dot Sight shooting the whole time at 7 yds with the middle of the target gone :mamoru: What a tight group

    :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

    The reason that is so funny to me is because there is this guy at the range I frequent that puts the target about 3 - 5 feet from the end of his rented rifle and shoots like he is the fucking man.

    What a douche.

    Since you are slow I will explain it.. its not funny he had a sight on his gun, but that you sight a gun and then put the target basically right in front of you. :ugh: :ugh:

    He's probably posting pics of the targets on another forum with the words "50yds" written on it. :)

    Nothing wrong with a Red Dot as long as you shoot at a distance

    i like the red dot a lot... it's good out to about 50 yards, after that the dot is too big.

    A red dot is made for speed not distance.

    but you would agree with a target lets say 10 feet in front of you using a red dot is kinda silly?

    25 yds is right in front of you. The min that I and many people at my range shoot is 50, 75 is more fun.

    I think some people are confusing yards with feet. Most pistols will never be shot bast 25 yards. A few might be shot at 50, and only a tiny, tiny amount will be shot for accuracy at 100 yds. 21 FEET is a normal distance for target shooting. Anywhere from 21 to 35 feet is what I practice on a regular basis.

    :ugh::wtf:

    7 yards= 21 feet

    :slap:

    I practice shooting at the 20-30 feet distance. Anything farther than that, it's just for fun.

    haha I know what you mean. At my range there is a guy that shoots about 200 rounds of .22cal on his target, Anyone smart enough would change the damn target when you can no longer tell where you are hitting.

    Paper targets at my range are like 25 cents.. cant throw that money away.. I change my target like every 30-50rds depending on how much I hit it :mamoru:

    Indoor range... paper targets and silouttes/badguys but still paper.

    The range at Outdoor world wont even let you shoot at silouttes
