Fun in the snow, IDPA vids

Seattle got hit with the biggest snow storm since 1990, but 34 brave souls felt they needed to get their IDPA on and the match got out before the storm hit. I have about 8" outside of my house.

I think they said it was 20 something degree's out. Threw on all the fleece and down I owned and strapped leather and ginger footed it through the snow and ice.

I placed 2nd in Custom Defensive pistol division with my Dan Wesson PM7.

kudos to that guy for not breaking the 180 rule after he knocked over those barrels.

that last stage was cool...I guess there should be 8 holes in each of the targets? and I guess you are only allowed 2 shots at each barricade?

for some reason I thought a G34 was not allowed in SSP due to its length.

G34 is okay, 5" rule in SSP.

Yeah, that last stage was from IDPA Nationals. furthest barrel was 20 yards away and it was a Limited Vickers stage, so penalties for any extra shots taken from the 16 shot limit.

I hit all 16 and was only 5 points down on that stage.

I assume the targets with the black "hands" are the no shoots?

We had a good time, usual suspects there. Scott P and Sean are making the transition over to IDPA and getting memberships now.

How do you make "high quality video" option enabled on your youtube videos?

Basically, it's got to be a good quality video to have that option. Youtube actually massively compresses my videos, they come out crystal clear on my TV and computer. I edit in high quality and use PAL video. My editing software is ghetto, and I use the proprietary software that came with my camera, but it comes out okay.
