Only semi-auto rifle I can think of would be a Ruger Mini-14. Reliability is good but you'll pay an arm and a leg for reliable high cap magazines. The new model out is suppose to have taken care of the accuracy problems and the new iron sights are a lot nicer than what they use to put on the ranch style rifles.

Maybe other's will be able to suggest some other rifles.

    What about an M1 Garand?

Think they have to have two features like the 94' ban b/c the Min-14 is legal there. the M1A isn't though. hrmm... IDK, CA sucks

Does California outlaw the Beretta Storm?

Then you can buy Beretta 92 magazines and ammo for when you want to own a pistol.

removable magazines are fine in california, the only problem is that any magazine you buy cannot fit more than 10 rounds.

if you want an ar15, you can get the FAB 10. similar to an AR but cannot accept magazines. You'll have to break the gun and feed the CLIPS through the top. No, the fab cannot be modified to accept magazines either. and expect to pay over $1000 for a complete.

a fab10 and the other similaar ca legal ar15-style receivers are an option. they're not that fun for blasting and mag dumps, but are fun for target shooting. i have two.

to be honest, you coul drop a load of chopped habaneros in a super soaker and cause much more mayhem than any gunny could dream of without pulling the trigger,
Blame it on society afterwards and get away with a few months probation.

CA is teh win. We need to start the revolution there.
