What is different (obvious front end and tails)? Is the rear end wider than the older.

Its ground up, they styled it similarly, but put them side by side, the entire roofline is different, check out that rear quarter window, the car is also wider and shorter, the actual wheelbase is different, i love the back end particularly.

    This demonstrates it well

That does look good. The other pictures were hard to notice the new differences for the noob (me).

yeah most people wont notice it at first glance, but i really like what making the car shorter does to its proportions

The only angle I don't like is the straight frontal shot...the headlights look too thin from that angle. However, any other angle it looks sexy. And once again, nissan managed to make excellent looking wheels, even despite the fact that these are a very complicated design...

It does look pretty nice. I'm looking to driving and hopefully working on one. I wonder how much worse the blind spot is on the new Z?

Definitely looks better than the 350. Now, if they can somehow manage to shake off the boy-racer image...

The power (at 332hp) is moving towards what i would consider acceptable too.

It also should be fairly light, should give a camaro a run for its money.

I really like it. I really do....but I would NOT own one based on the new head/tail lights.

    What?
Is this a mid model-year change or a new z altogether?

Don't tell me it's a new Z because it still looks like the retarded 350z with different head/tail lights.

you mean the turn signals/reverse lights are now one piece with the brake lights? I think the other way actually worked better on the 350, because that rear bumper is huge. Now everyone's doing the trick where they put that section at the bottom of the bumper that makes it look smaller than it is, so the integrated turn signals work good with the 370, too.
