Or what about other businesses? I used to, but now I just leave it on. Especially when wearing my tinted lens. I feel l like The Stig when I do it :mamoru:

I will regularly walk around any store with my helmet on. No one will know who I am anyways. So who cares, right?

I have one with the front that flips up so I do keep it on when I go to the gas station.

in some instances it can make the person behind the counter nervous. I usually take my helmet off unless it's someplace I frequent regularly and they've figured out it's me.

I leave it on always. Never know if you might need to headbutt someone in the face.

I normally pay credit @ the pump and leave it on, but for the times i do pay cash i will also leave it on unless i happen to also be buying a snack to munch on on the lot

more and more places that are prone to robbery will make you take it off, same goes for wearing hoodies.
They want your smiling face on the video cams in case you decide to rob them.

The gas station right off campus back in high school banned hoodies entirely. Walk in with a hoody, you had to carry it in your arms.

They lost a lot of Business from me during the winter, I wore nothing but hoodies (it's Florida, that is all you need) and I wasnt going to take it off to buy a drink and a candy bar.

most of the time ill do it because i almost always use a credit or debit card, and buy cigarettes whenever im getting gas, so i they ID me, and need to see my face. plus like i said earlier, i tend to be in shitty parts of miami and dont want to make the clerk uneasy.

Never taken the helmet off just for gas station. Too much work to put it back on take gloves off to restrap it and put gloves back on. Never been asked to remove helmet either.

    I take it off.
It takes me all of a few seconds to flip up the chinbar, hit the quick release on the chinstrap (rings suck ass) and pop it off. Can take it off and put it on even with cold weather gloves.

I take it off for my own safety.

But normally at a gas station I pay with CC @ the pump. Only time going inside is for piss break, or buying water and ciggies.

it varies.. I wear glasses so it's a pain in the ass to take off - but, I pay at the pump for gas and many other places I go inside at I don't have my helmet with me :hsd:

I have gone inside the gas station to use the ATM with the helmet on before though.

No one is going to make me take it off. Like others have said, I have to take my gloves off, take my glasses off, then take the helmet off. Takes too much time.

    I dont smoke.

I dont think there is a law that states I have to show my face when enetering a place of business. Its not much different than if I am Islam and I wear a veil. :dunno:

There's no law saying that you have to take it off, but they can decide that you aren't allowed in their place of business with it on - after all, it is private property.

Yeah, but motorcycling isnt an extremist religion that everyone has to be politically correct about.

For fucks sake, there was actually a controversy over whether or not some lady was allowed to wear her veil in her license picture. :ugh:

Please, do tell and islamic female that she isnt allowed to walk into your gas station with her head dress on.

Perhaps brain bucket wearers across the nation should band together and become a recognized church by the US government.

Weather is starting to get a bit cooler. Time to break out my full face.

They make any shields that are Photochromic? I ride into work in the dark but go home with sunlight.

ive never seen one. i usually ride with a light smoke lens on, all the time. it really doesnt affect my night vision at all, unless im on a really dark street. but as for any decently lit rode, i never have a problem.
