so me and a few mates in a share house were walking home the other afternoon. A chick came and asked us for helping lifting her boyfriend into her car. Apparently the ambulance hadn't showed. His whole body was in one big cramp. He couldn't move without being in total agony. He'd been labouring all day.

What causes this, what would someone do to treat it, was it risky?

Sounds like she slipped him a roofie and couldn't get him into her car on her own.

Not enough water and not enough sodium. The whole body can cramp when it starts to dehydrate. I think. :o
