Fuck, I had the incline bench set all the way vertical to do some shoulder presses, and about halfway through the third set, the fucking pin snapped, I flew back and pulled the shit out of my right arm and lat. I shoudlve known not to fuck around with the adjustable ones and wait for a solid one, but it was crowded and I was in a hurry. Jesus, that sucked.

As in the pin that supports the back of the seat? I didn't click it in properly lowering it to flat once and was benching what I thought would be my PR at the time and when it popped down I barely skipped a beat so I :ugh2: and then upped it on my next set and was stoked:cool:

if it was a commercial gym, bitch to the manager about it, throw out the word 'negligence' a few times, and try to get a free year out of it.

ehhh...I would probably bitch about it, but not try to get anything from it. Maybe a free tshirt...if I didn't work out at a Y.

oh yer complain etc or whatever, but none of this negligence talk. It's the insurance prremiums that are killing so many small clubs.

Did it actually break, or did you just not have the pin inserted all the way?

i said commercial clubs, like ballys. if it was a big corporate company and they almost get me killed i'd like to get 12 months where i don't have to pay their rip-off prices.

if it was a small club i probably wouldn't even bring it up.

Not trying to sound all broly, but it snapped, I was only shoulder pressing two 50lb dumbells, I didn't think that was a good reason for it to break. I didn't bitch, I'm not like that, I just told em they needed a new bench, but man for the next few weeks everytime I get on a bench I'm gonna be a little nervouse I think. I'm really lucky.
