    Damn Apple, I just drop $3050 + taxes on a new 17" MBP and they drop the price and up the base stats.

    Can I call and bitch? :x:

    I wonder if they will send it to me in Sweden! No Apple Store here. :(

    Edit: I bought it May 29, it's now June 8th. 11 days.

    I hope they can help me out!

    Yeah, but I was leaving the country and needed it for work.

    They wanted me to express post it over from Sweden to Vancouver in 2 days (14 day return policy). Take the 10% hit on a restocking fee to save the $100 + upgrades.

    Worst, customer, support, ever.

    Well when the manager would only keep referring to the story policy and I HAD to have it fedex'd overnight (almost $200) to Vancouver for her to honor it. She wasn't willing to be flexible to my situation of living overseas. It also had to be packaged in proper casing.

    Now if I had to buy a new one, have it shipped out, transfer my data, then shipped the old one back, I'd have been a lot more willing to do that, and eat the 10% restocking fee. The problem then lies its my work laptop as well, so what would I do w/o a laptop.

    And the Apple Stores here can't help me. Plus, it's a Swedish keyboard layout. :hs:

    Hell, if I bought it from Futureshop/BestBuy, they'd have let me do it. I've done it before with other hardware.

    sucks for you guys...I've had nothing but exceptional service from them on the phone or in person. Hell, i'd put them at the top as far as customer service.

    They are just authorized resellers. Not official "Apple Stores".
