Ordered the rail and other shit before I got the upper. Cheaper.

I could help with the wrench but I haven't got a block yet. Check some army/navy places, I found a few around that do simple smithing on the side or for their personal use, they were kind enough to let me use their bench for the action block to install a barrel.

More than what I got it for from Eagle + rail covers + G2 tapeswitch + VFG + YHM gas block front sight.

RRA Mid Length CAR A4 flattop upper with a Badger Tac Latch for $463 shipped.

Almost went with CMMG, but Pete had better and a hell of a lot more endorsements. Mid length ARs are hard to find.

I might take you up on that. :o I don't see myself ever building another AR, since I set this one up the way I wanted, so buying another tool and block seems a little pointless.

Seems competitively priced with the guys I normally buy from.

Steve @ Adco wants $410 for a midlength RRA upper.....figure a little for the latch (which is cool btw)..+ ship
    it's about the same.

I didn't need a block when I put mine together, I was able to tourqe it enough by hand. Grabbed it by the magwell and the wrench and twisted as hard as I could.
