    its been about a month...

squeezed it today and a lot of white pus came out.. i've been on amoxicillin last week, and just started penicillin this week for a recurrent strep throat infection. if it is infected, what antibiotics should i be taking?

should i just say fuck it and take it out?

    fuck. :wtc:

rubbing alcohol is too harsh on any open would and will damage and kill the new tissue and white bloodcells causing the wound to weaken up, causing a slower healing processes with a higher chance of scaring.

I would just continue cleaning it up with antibacterial soap and seawater.

i think mine is infected too.

its not really white pussy or anything, but all the cartilage has swelled up a little and it is harder - not as floppy as my unpierced ear!

    its only been two weeks.

Cartilage takes a while to heal. So do most piercings!
Just keep up with the salt water soaks, maybe some neosporin if it looks like it's infected, and give it a while. All of my cartilage piercings and my navel have taken a good six months to be really healed to the point that sleeping on them, etc doesn't make them flare up again.
