AND I'M USING ALL CAPS TO SHOW HOW FUCKING MAD I AM

I went from being able to afford shooting my gun once a week, to once a month over the past 2~ months.

It's been 5~ weeks since I last shot it.

    wtf man :(

My aim is fucking garbage and I'm sad that I can't do SHIT to fucking change that.

Cruised the ammo aisle at Cabela's the other day; $23 for 25 9mm rds.

:wtc: :wtc: :wtc:

THIS IS FUCKING OUTRAGEOUS BULLSHIT :madfawk:

Prices should be coming down. .223 rounds are down a couple bucks a box from a couple months ago.

    This.

Go over to BENOS and read all the dry-fire practice routines.....

I am not shooting as much, but my reloads. draws, and trigger control have improved immensely.

Every time I've gone to Wal-Mart they've never had any handgun ammo...just a fuck ton of shotgun shells, .223, and 30-06. :wtc:

Get a .22lr pistol or a conversion for your glock. I've been shooting ~1000 rounds through my 10/22 almost weekly working on fundamentals and getting better.

I've done tons of dry firing practice, not so much lately though. Guess I'll go back to doing that.

    Do you use snap caps?

I've heard that straight up dry firing can damage a firearm.

Generally only older ones. Any modern firearm should be able to handle dry firing, with the exception of some 22s

nope, like mentioned, dry firing a glock in most instances is safe.

fuck me, I wish I had the money to get a new barrel or something :(

For what purpose? Can't change the caliber of any of the 9mm Glocks AFAIK. And you probably won't see any results from a 'match' barrel if you aren't shooting it a lot more than you currently are.

get your ass to walmart, call your local stores within 30 mile radius.

Yesterday I picked up 600 rounds of 9mm WWB at $19.97 each, to round out my stash. Shit is out there, you just need to find it.

It'd be neat to get a regular 17 upper; and the new barrel would ultimately be aesthetics at this point, being that I'd love to get a chrome barrel

1st, FUCK WAL-MART. After standing around for 30 FUCKING MINUTES waiting to get help in buying ammo, i told myself, I would not support them anymore, and have rightfully stuck to that. It's a fucking cesspool and a zoo full of obese poor people.

I'm going by academy later and will look for some 9mm then.

So you had to wait a little bit for your ammo, big fucking deal. You should have went shopping and came back to the counter after.

Sure it isn't the pinnacle of customer service, nor are the customers members of high society, but it is hard to beat their prices. Many are open 24 hours too.

Point is, I have over 1,000 round of WWB 9mm all gathered during this ammo rush and I didn't bleed out the ass to pay for any of it.

In fact, one very nice lady who works the sporting goods counter held a few boxes for me after I called and said I'd swing by after work. :coold:
