Fuck man...i can't get my #'s up....

    i'm a lifting n00b. i've only been lifting (strictly) for ~ 2 months. i can't seem to increase my #'s.

    for example, i do my benching 5x5. whenever i get to my 5th set, if i could only do 3 the previous week, i STILL can only squeeze off 3.

    should i try moving ahead to a heavier weight or keep benching until i can finally get 5 off?

    cee, ON whey protein (x3 on off days, x5 on workout days), 2 eggs every morning, tuna for lunch if possible, di-arg malate, fish oil, xtend, beef/chicken for dinner (like everyday)

    3-day split

    mon.: bb bench, military press, bb incline bench, side raises, tri extensions/kickbacks
    wed: curl, b.o. rows, standing rows, wrist curls, shrugs, saxon bends
    fri.: squats, leg curls

    Are you getting carbs pre and post workout ?

    Total daily calorie intake (cutting ? / bulking ?)

    Absolutely zero progress after 2 full months would make me a little worried as well.

    i've FULLY practiced form. if i wasn't so strict on form, i probably would've cheated my way to the full 5...

    it's my military presses and benches that worry me.

    a tree outside, rafters, anything you can find.... or buy a pullup bar, they're not expensive.

    Problem found, add in (alot) more carbs and eat eat eat. Don't feel like getting fat? Don't bother trying to get stronger.

    i eat cereal and breads (donuts, bagels, italian bread) whenever possible. :dunno:

    for once im gonna agree here...for sure at least double your food at first to get used to but you are eating like a rabbit man

    be creative, thats why god gave humans brains. you can find something, trust me.

    oh and rabbits eat up to 1/3 their body weight in food pellets. rabbits > bulkers.

    Increase portion sizes of what you are already eating, and make sure your whey shakes are double scoops. So instead of 2 eggs in the morning, make that 6, or maybe even 8. Have 2 chicken breasts instead of 1. Stuff like that. EAT EAT EAT :big grin: :big grin: :big grin:

    oye...i wish i had the stomach. i appetite cannot FATHOM 6 eggs. i'm already double-scooping on the whey shakes.q
