fuck.......i threw out my arm

    so i threw my arm out. i get a fuckin sharp pain in my arm when i put any weight on it.

    i couldn't even finish lifting

    im so pissed. how long will this last?

    what can i do besides ice?

    "Throwing your arm out" isn't a medical term, so I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about.

    my little brother used to pitch then apparently hurt his and he rehab'd 2 months. now he wont join a summer league with me !!!

    Could be a lot of things. Strain could be a couple or a few weeks. Tear or nerve probs could be much longer, but I think if it were either you'd know because the pain woul dbe blinding and not "couldn't finish my lift" type pain.

    You're fine. Stay off it for two weeks and see how you feel. If the pain increases or doesn't subside with everyday tasks after a week then definitely see a doctor. See a doctor now if you want, it's wise to do so with any injury, but not always necessary.
