because i didnt ship the bad one back yet. they'll refund me when i send it back right?
my friend never sent the old battery back, and never got charged. that's weird.
i'd say ship it back and tell them you've been really busy lately
I've had 2 that I've never sent back.
tell them you shipped it and you dont know why they didnt get it.
i got my replacement and there was nothing in the box at all other than the battery, so i gots two now
sent mine back b/c I was afraid of it 'sploding while sitting on my desk
This is just for those batteries that were reported as being defective, right?
nope, new battery that just randomly died.
So can you, in theory, act like your battery died and get another one for free?
except they charged me.
oh ok, so you bought a new battery it was bad and you RMA'ed it.
Damn...I've got an old battery in an old 12" iBook dual-usb that I need to replace.
no it wasnt new new, just the new one that came in my macbook, so it was like 2 months old.
within warranty range
I never sent the old one back... and charge it weekly for back-up power.
Apple is catchin on to this.
They are starting to charge money, so people actually send it back in.
they didn't catch me yet
i haven't send mine back from that sony recall a few months ago.
Well they still hadnt refunded me so I called today and 15 minutes later i got my refund minus a restocking fee
