eh, except for the fact that it's a hack, you get a barebones computer and can't update the OS.

My Macbook is wonderful. Its a portable. Its always with me. Design matters. But I wouldn't pay what Apple $5000 for a beefy desktop. So, I just don't have one. I have a mac mini. But I want something beefier.

it was a scam, iirc. The only person to post that they received a working machine without incident was linked back to the guy that runs psystar.

Well shit in my cheerios why don't you?

Maybe I'll setup a fast Ubuntu machine. With Postgres + MySQL + Apache2 + blah blah that I have to run for 2 projects now this thing is going to get slow.

Thats the thing: I NEED MORE RAM to do that. And my fucking mini has 1GB. Fuck, my fucking Macbook Pro only has 1GB right now, the other GB went bad.

    www.newegg.com

And I really Like virtualization too. Its nice to just have an "extra" machine waiting to be messed up. On my current desktop I have Mandriva, Ubuntu, and 2 instances of XP pro to be messed with. I also want to install some other versions of Linux and stuff. But I'm graduating soon and with that comes graduation money. And with graduation money comes a New computer with much more Hard drive space than 250GB. I am going to upgrade my Fileserver to more than 250GB and build a new gaming comp with 2 500GB Seagate 7200.11
