No it pisses me off cause it wasn't using that much resources.

I've monitored it befoer on my vps.

Also they sent me another email saying the manager says that proxies aren't allowed. I just emailed him back saying that

1). they terms of service does not have a definition for exsessive, in their context

    and

2). They dont state anything related to not allowing proxies

I want my money back :squint::mad:

They waited for me to upgrade my plan then the day after send me this shit.

Are they shared accounts? If so, a days worth of downtime is costing you... what? 25 cents per day? The shared hosting at ASO blows. They did however used to be good. Their VPS packages are a completely different story. Been hosting with ASO for a few years now on their VPS packages and don't have a single complaint -- Other then the fact they stopped offering hands-on support for free sometime last year. And if it were any other host it wouldn't be a complaint, it's just the fact that I was used to it then they stopped doing it. But to be fair, it's understandable.

5 bucks a day :sad2: on that site

and it is understandable, but if they're going to start making up rules on teh spot its not cool.

I read the tos befiore i signed up and it never mentioned any of the bullshit he was talking about, except the resources which i understand. It was a small glitch i noticed in the script

If I recall correctly, ASO never allowed proxy scripts on their shared accounts. I vaguely remember speaking with them regarding this subject.

Or don't use small mom and pop VPS/Dedi providers that don't provide good service. Test the service before it needs to be put to use, or only buy/rent from the big guys.

I only deal with softlayer on my dedi's and I've never, ever had a complaint. I wouldn't put any website I depend on for income on a shared server unless it was with godaddy or another LARGE corp setup, and even then, only if it's a static site with low traffic.

You got what you paid for. Besides there's many shared hosting services that don't allow proxies for the same reason.
