what is the best free mac FTP client? (Panther).

Also, can I FTP from my mac to my xbox? Or do I need a windows computer?

And are there any realy easy to use free mac FTP clients? I'm a total noob, so any help as far as what FTPing is, I would greatly appreciate. I think its just connecting two computer, over the internet or via straight ethernet connection, and transfering files, am I correct?

    idk what that means...

But, I'm assuming that I would download the FTP client onto my mac, then plug the xbox to my mac via ethernet (or do I plug them both into a router, and use the internet to connect them???) and then it'll just show up and I drag and drop?

I'm transfering music and videos, and thats it.

it depends on your network setup.

if you've got a router w/ mulitple ports, plug your mac into one (it already should since you're on the web :) ) and your xbox into antoher - assign the xbox an ip address, and then connect to it w/ username/pw xbox/xbox...shouldnt be any issues with adding stuff to it from your mac

i personally like transmit for FTP, its shareware, and i paid the registration fee, but you could certainly find a serial on teh web somewhere if you're a cheap bastard :o
