...which used to work, but isn't now.

    Win2k Server.

I have set up various ftp directories for specific users. In the past, when these users would go to ftp.myftpsite.com with their username and password, they would automatically end up in "their" directory. This seems to have stopped, and for no apparent reason. Did I change something? Did a Windows Update do this? Is there something else I'm missing? It is irritating to customers to end up in the ftp root and have to CD to a directory, when they should just be going straight there.

    Any ideas?

This is probably better suited for the Computers and Programming subforum. That said, if the users folder is the same name as the user account it should dump them into that folder automatically. We have a similar setup here at work and that's how it works.

That seems to be it. It looks like if I set the username and the foldername the same, they automatically get thrown in that folder. Maybe it always worked that way, and I just didn't notice until now. :dunno:
Creating FTP directories isn't something I do every day.
