    Transmit... Well worth the $$$

There's also a nice little widget for Transmit!

30 bucks... and with free software out there, like Cyberduck, which supports SFTP, bookmarks, quickconnects, and will support tabbed browsing, etc, I can't imagine why anyone would pay 30 bucks. If what you're looking for is an FTP client that is sleak and gets the job done then Cyberduck is by far the way to go. I will readily admit that Transmit has more bells and whistles, but I think the number of people who take advantages of those differences between the two clients is small (my opinion, maybe I'm wrong). Truth be told, you can try both and decide which one you like better. Have at it.

free, open source, has Transmit's same user interface (dual windows)... better than anything else out there

haven't used cyberduck. have used and really like transmit. used to use fetch backj in the day, but transmit is so much nicer to use.

lately, i've just been using ftp in terminal.
