Ok, here is the deal. I bought some M44's on my C&R license about a year ago, and I want to sell off one of them. A friend of mine would like to buy it, but the catch is he doesn't live in my state of residence, and he doesn't have a C&R. He's in Kentucky, I'm in Ohio. Is it legal to sell it to him across state lines without going though an FFL? I know handguns are a no, but not sure on the long guns. I will sell it for the exact amount I paid, so I don't have to worry about the business clause crap for C&R's.

    Thx.

You may not. You need an 01 FFL to do the transaction or he needs to get his 03 FFL (C&R) and receive them himself.

And FWIW you can sell your C&R guns for more than you paid for them.

Yep 1 or 2 occasionally is fine, but buying 10 and then turning around and flipping them all for profit is a :nono:
