So, I cleaned my room, and found a bunch of shit I don't want/need anymore. Just sick of looking at it all, so get it out of my face.

Paypal only. You must be verified, and have a CONFIRMED address, that I will be shipping anything to. Otherwise GTFO.

Buyer pays shipping on all this shit.

Microsoft Bluetooth wireless presenter mouse 8000. I got a good deal on it, bought it, don't need it. I have my laptop, and a junk ass Gateway desktop for Christ's sake. $45 + $10 shipping.

This is a copy of Vista Home Premium that I had to mail in for when I got my laptop. I don't want it, I've used Vista and I hate it. I never even installed it. Product key is right on the envelope, never used either. $55 + $10 Shipping.

I would like to see one of 2 things for this laptop. Trade me an older iBook, or $450 OBO. Laptop will come in original box, with all paperwork, and a fresh system restore (read: fresh install of all OEM software, it has XP Media Center on it). It is visually perfect, the battery is good, the computer is less than a year old.

    $450!!!! OBO!!!!

Feel free to make some offers.

i wouldn't count on it. almost 100% of the time when you get a disc like that with a laptop/pc, it checks to make sure that the proper hardware is there before it will install the OS

besides, even if it does work, it will be loaded with bloatware from the manufacturer

Yes you can. All it is is an OEM upgrade disc. It just doesn't have the retail packaging. No extra software crap either. I bought two of these computers, and got 2 copies. I used the second copy on my desktop, and it works fine. I just don't particularly like it, because my desktop is too slow for it.

I'll help the seller out on this one.

I have a laptop that is almost identical to the one he is selling. I bought it last year just after Thanksgiving.
I forget what my model number is, but I seriously doubt there are many differences.
I even did the very same Vista upgrade deal he did.

    First about the laptop.
It is a perfectly fine laptop. $450 is a steal. I have gotten games to run on my laptop. While it is the first laptop I have ever owned, I think it is great.

Now the deal with those Vista upgrade discs.
    Dorkultra is completly wrong.
He doesn't know what he is talking about.

Here is what I did with my upgrade discs.

I had 2 computers I wanted to upgrade to Vista. The first is my home machine. It is a machine I built myself. It is not an HP, it is not a Dell. I have been building for years and years now.

The laptop I just bought I wanted to upgrade as well.

So, when they had the promo I decided to try something not altogether honest.
I went to the website where you entered in your information to get your upgrade discs and I added 1 to the serial number of the laptop that I bought.
I requested 2 sets of discs where the second set was a fake serial number.

Much to my surprise it worked. I recieved 2 copies of Vista Premium upgrade.

Those install discs do hold drivers that the laptop needs to function. I eventually built an install disc by sucking the drivers off the disc I got in the mail.

For my main rig I got on Usenet...
and aquired an image of Vista Ultimate.

THE ONLY COPY PROTECTION ON VISTA, XP OR ANY OTHERS WINDOWS OS IS THE KEY.

I downloaded that Vista Ultimate image and installed it on my main rig.
When the Vista asked for the key I gave it the key from the Vista Premium upgrade disc. Vista Ultimate is set up to downgrade itself to premium if you give it a premium key.
I then showed it my XP partition on my main rig and it was satisfied with the upgrade requirement.

    So...
if you are running XP then that Vista Premium upgrade disc he has is completly worth it. Grab a copy of Vista ULtimate off the net and go to town with it.
