Need some cash flow. I've got 1k rounds of Speer Gold Dot .45acp JHP GDHP.

These go for 29.99 per box of 20, IF you can even find any in stock. I've got 50 round boxes I'll sell to an OTer for $50 a box plus shipping. I'll be selling them for $60 a box locally.

I've shot over 1500 through my gun flawlessly, have some stashed for me the rest is excess I was going to shoot at all of my IDPA matches but that's kinda baller, lol.

Trades? I've got 20 boxes I can sell.

    PM me.

    ok so

#1 why did you spray 1500 rounds of defense rounds through your gun?

and HOLY SHIT have they gone up. I bought a 50 pack a year ago for $25

Because if you are going to carry it, you better shoot it. A box or two doesn't cut it for me. The whole gun reacts differently to +p ammo and you have to learn the timing, especially in your self defense load.

Gold Dots are almost impossible to buy rite now. I have seen them at the gunshows go for $50 for 20 round boxes. I have enough for myself, I'm just selling some excess. Otherwise I can just shoot them. But I've got enough loaded to get me through the winter.

Natchez has them at $29 for a 20 round count box. But of course they are all sold out.

LOL, only in WMD will someone get ridiculed for actually "shooting" their gun. Why do YOU care what I shoot in my gun? And how exactly is that dumb?

because you're just wasting money shooting defense rounds out a gun. put some mags through. does it work? good you're done

    the gun doesn't perform different.

You've never had a FTF or FTE?

  17. The point is he is willing to spend the money to make absolutely sure the gun he may use to defend his life and the lives of his family is reliable with the ammo he's chosen to use. Makes sense to me.

you're right. it's his money. more power to him i guess :dunno:

i see no operational or performance diff between any decent carry round and any decent FMJ. at least under 75 feet

i don't personally put that many hollow points through my carry guns but i do put 20-50 through them every month or 2 just to remind myself of any different feel etc.

the +P hollow points make a big difference in my .38 but the hollow points don't make much difference in my 9mm that i've noticed (and i haven't had the 9mm that long) so the .38 gets more defensive rounds through it.

doesn't sound strange to me, i would assume he shoots alot of ammo in general if he's putting that much defensive ammo through his weapon

never noticed a single diff in my guns, except for a slight increase in recoil.

Isn't an increase in recoil a single difference?

ok sure it's a diff, but it doesn't change how the gun shoots unless you are some weak wristed fool

i'd shoot 200 rounds of WWB and then throw gold dots down the range both long distance and 7yd double tap

    nothing :dunno:

both in my 9mm and 45

i really cant argue this i guess. it's a matter of opinion. it's not like it's a bad thing if u can afford it.

i just hear a cash register cha chinging as those babies go down the range

It's evident that the level of commitment to training and practice is vastly different between you and I. I'm not even going to pursue arguing this, with you.

Something I don't understand is the crab mentality of putting anyone down for doing what you are unwilling to do. I don't understand that at all.

Thanks for the bump, but unless you are looking to buy some ammo please keep your opinions to yourself. I've all but given up on this forum.
