I know I made a thread a month or so ago but I was just kind of testing the waters not really sure if I was going to attempt to sell.

Well I have decided that I want to build a 6.5 Grendel upper for the AR and use that as my long range gun.

That way I have my 16" 5.56 upper with the EOTECH and then a ~20" 6.5 upper with some nice glass for hunting/long range stuff.

I have shot around 2-3 boxes (40-60 rounds) through the Rem and bought it new about a year and a half ago.:hs:

That being said, I would like to get around $650 shipped....:wiggle:

    Remington 700 SPS Tactical
    .308 WIN
    20" Heavy Bull barrel
    Houge Over Molded stock
    Rock Mount Bi-pod
    Butler Creek flip scope caps
    Nikon Buckmaster 3x9 40mm scope
    Leupold rings and bases

Its a nice gun, I love how it looks and shoots! Just think it would be nice to consolidate my guns down a little (use one lower for 2 diff uppers depending on what im doing with it).

what is the procedure of shipping a rifle? Can I ship through UPS or USPS or do I have to go through a FFL?

IIRC long guns can go through USPS, but I'd save yourself the hassle and go through Fedex or UPS. Just make sure the receiving FFL accepts shipments from a non-FFL.

For as often as you post and tell others how wrong they are, you'd think you'd be more accurate with what you post yourself.

how was I wrong? I think you need to remove the large cock from your ear. It's screwing up your ability to think. You cannot ship that rifle directly to the user... they MUST go through a ffl.

he MUST go through a FFL. If he ships directly to an end-user he can end up in pound-me-in-the-ass prison.

(he's asking if he can mail the package himself or if a ffl has to ship it, the code was cracked several posts ago by Keesh)

Nothing illegal (on the federal level) about shipping a firearm inside your own state directly to a buyer either. Same rules apply as a FTF transfer.

Well to clarify, I was asking about me shipping the gun. Like.... can I take it down to UPS or do I have to take it to a local gun store and do it?

thanks for the answers though guys. I think it would be easier to just take to a local gun shop pay him a fee and have him ship it. I'm hoping I can find someone in WA that wants it...:hs: wishful thinking.

Well I posted on AR15 and found some potential buyers. One is in WA so I could meet him halfway which would be nice. The other is in FL but would pay $30 more for me to ship. He said that his FFL accepts things from non-FFL's so I would be in the clear right?

If I want to do it he will send a MO and the FFL's information within 48 hours.

I might be interested if your other buyer falls thru. I'm in WA, (Bellingham to be exact), so it should make the transfer easier. PM me.
