all prices include shipping and paypal. if you feel i'm out of line with a price, shoot me an offer and we can discuss it. i might be interested in a trade for monolight/s or a tripod.

pelican 1520 with pcs152 shoulder bag/backpack - SOLD locally on CL

opteka 650-1300mm f/8-f/16 in canon eos mount
this is a fixed aperture, manual focus lens. i've used it twice i think to take some moon shots. if you want to use it for something like that, make sure you have a hell of a stable tripod :o you can see a couple of moon shots just to give you an idea of what 1300mm really looks like.
    $125

the moon at 650mm on a 30d, no cropping just resized and a lot of sharpening

    SOLD

i've got some feedback here in the yardsale forum and ebay if you want to see it.

it was kinda fun to mess around with, but make sure you've got a way to keep it stable. 1300mm doesn't take much to get a LOT of camera shake.

I guess you can handhold it if you have a fast shutter :p
Too bad I don't have a Canon, I'd pick that up from you.

1300mm handheld would be ~1/2000th of a second for a still shot and that would have to be at f/16  shooting at iso1600 in bright sunlight ftl

What exactly does a CPL do again? I've been needing to get some filters for my 18-105.

Circular polarizer, helps cut down glare and brings out greens/blues better.

i should see if i can find the pictures of when i was using it. neither of my shitty tripods could hold it still, so i tried putting one on the lens and another on the body of my camera. :bowrofl: the thing is HUGE. to give you an idea, it came with a 95mm uv filter.

I've found them to be handy in general.
Like if you're shooting some portraits and your subject has a weird reflection, or glare coming off clothing or glasses...you can use the polarizer to cut it.
