    :hsugh:

This lens takes great photos, however there is a "scratch" under the glass. This does not show up in any of the pictures that I've ever taken. I can probably dig up some photos from when I used it when I used to shoot briefly with a Nikon if you really want.

I stand by what I sell and don't hide anything intentionally. If the product isn't how I describe I will refund you all of your money (minus shipping).

    eBay user ID is "kingkhobra"

Price: On FredMiranda...I've seen this lens go for $400-450 in good used shape. So I think $350 shipped and paypal'd is fair?

I will post pics of the lens and its scratch in a minute.

looking at the pictures it kind of looks like the scratch is on the surface...it is not. it's below the glass. how it got there i have no idea...i got it like this and it served me well when i used to use it

This is a common manufacturing defect. It does not show up in photos in anyway. This is very common for all the 10.5 fisheyes.

    that's nice to know

i always wondered if it was dropped or something and it caused it to crack internally...but the body of the lens has no nicks or scratches or anything to say it has been :dunno:

its a good lens and i used it quite a bit way back when

I'm also open to trades for any Canon goodies.

    I have the 50D/10-22mm/50 1.8/BG-E2N

That reminds me I also have a Nikon 50 1.8. I'd sell both of these lenses together for $420 shipped and paypal'd.

I'd love to buy it too...it would compliment my UWA...hmmm I'd have to come up with the cash some how. :hs: I have most of it....but I am kinda holding out on a 85mm or a 30mm. What to do.

I am more OG than Girth! woot! :run:

I'd highly consider it...I even have a reason to use it....but man....and that hole shipping across borders thing:o, speaking of which it would be beneficial to note whether or not this is USD or CD:o:mamoru:

Actually, I've changed my mind. I'm not sure if I'll see any tangible gains from using this lens over my Tokina 10-17mm. I'd mainly want to switch because the Tokina 107 exhibits a lot of CA but I guess the Nikon does too (albeit not as bad).

From what I can see the scratch looks like it is on the metal underneath the front element. For whoever is going to purchase it: you can actually unscrew the front element (see the two little divots? the front element is threaded for easy cleaning). I'd recommend removing the front element and using a sharpie or paint to paint over the scratch to prevent any glare issues that the scratch might cause.

There is probably a tool designed to do this but I'm sure you could figure something out with precision screwdrivers and patience.

Good luck with your sale man.

thanks, but I have to pass this time. I'm still torn between that and the 16mm FF one. sucks that I have both formats, but it is what it is for now. Maybe when I have 2 FF cameras, I wont't even look at DX stuff anymore. good luck with the sale though, its a great lens for someone. :bigthumb:

    Ffffffuuuuuuuuuuu what a great price.
What's the word on box, front and rear caps, warranty?
Would you go for a $50/week payment plan for a baller [poor student] on a budget? :noes: PayPal verified & 22 (100%) feedback on eBay
If not I understand, I may want that 50mm 1.8 soon if I can't snipe one on ebay.
