This is the 18-70 that came with my D70s.

The lens served me extremely well but is now a rough duplicate of a new lenses focal length so I have decided to part with it.

Very sharp, fast focusing, and a consistent performer. It does not have a box since it was part of a kit; however the bag is included and I will have it shipped well to ensure safe delivery.

    $200USD shipped.

Payments via Paypal: cookbl AT onid.orst.edu

How does this compare to the 18-55 kit lens that comes with the d40?

the 18-70 obviously has more reach on the long end obviously as well an instant manual over ride focusing ring vs. the little tiny one on the very end of the 18-55. i think just overall the 18-70 is better. alot say distortion is better in the 18-70 as well

I just picked up the 18-200 VR... didn't know people would still buy the kit 18-70mm. Maybe I should put mine up for sale too.

The practicality of the zoom range on the 18-200 is awesome if that's what you're looking to get:

I love that lens. Unfortunately it's kinda slow, but during the day it's great.
