Selling my 5DMkII that I picked up a little over a month ago. Its got about 700 clicks on it and will come with the grip and extra Canon LP-E6 battery.

    Retail on B&H is 3053.
Ill sell for 2900 shipped or will trade for a 1D MkIII.

Ill take some pictures tomorrow and have them up tomorrow night.

Yep...The ultimate defender of the 5DII has fallen. :hs:

I'm sure that has absolutely nothing to do with that.

    Naw. FPS is fine.

Heres the reply I emailed to someone that asked about it.

Unfortunately, at least for my style of shooting sports, it just wasnt
quite fast enough in low light. I have been extremely pleased with the
shots that I have gotten with it but I have been extremely displeased
with the shots that I have missed due to AF not locking on quite fast
enough. In good light, it seems to be fast enough, but as that light
goes down it is just a hair too slow.

I thought it was just a style that needed to be adjusted and in decent light its plenty quick. However, in low light Ive missed more than a few shots because it cant get on target fast enough or it jumps target immediately when it sees something else for even a nanosecond.

That's too bad, I've heard the same complaint from a few people though.

Hey man the D40X is pretty rad you should try it out! It cleans its own sensor!!

    Get me a FF fisheye, a 14-24, a 24-105/4 equivalent, a 70-200 VR, a 135/2, and a 50/1.4 and I might consider it!

I bought it solely for use at our indoor Tennis complex. It gets the job done. Works well but it is USM. If the Nikon version is just gear driven, youll have problems.
