I know its a FS, but I figured I would post it in the photography section, seeings how this is what its for!!

Bought this lens in July for my Rebel XT, can be used on all the Canon cameras except the 5D and 1D, but I highly doubt you will have that camera and buying this lens.......

In perfect shape, includes box, hood, lense cap, ProMaster UV filter and a 9.5/10 lens!!! I'll get pictures of the actual lens, as that its my only primary lens.....going to be replacing it with a Canon 24-70 f2.8L so its not that I dont like this lense, just upgrading! Pictures are sharper then a needle too!!

Great replacement to the Canons "kit lens" broader range of zoom as well as a much larger aperature!
B&H sells the lense for $379 plus shipping, I paid $399 from a local shop.....

Selling it for $270 shipped and paypal fees included......

Selling it for $325 shipped and paypal fees included......which I think is a fair deal?

Considering that I bought mine two weeks ago from BeachCamera for $319 shipped, I don't think you're going to get $325 for a used one.

for the record it works just fine on a 1d2 and will work on a 5d, though it woudn't be optimal.

I bought the same lens with hood, uv filter, polarizing filter, and a canon battery grip (with around 6-8 generic batteries) for $350.

    sample pictars from said lens?

I'm curious why you think the Canon 24-70 2.8L is enough of an upgrade that it's worth selling this lens. I have the older (and many people think better) Canon 28-70 2.8L and it's not that much better/different than the Tamron.

can't speak for him but i'm doing the same. The Tammy's AF is plain awful. Hvaen't decided betwen the 28-70, 24-70 and 24-105 yet, probably will come down to the best used price I can find.

I'm actually getting 50 1.4 and a 10-22.......almost all my shots from this lense have been taken at 50mm and if I want anything more then that I have been using my 70-200 soooooo thats why I am getting rid of it, to fund my 10-22 mainly...I also do alot of low light shooting and the focus is a pain in the ass in low light with the Tamron

    Here are some pics:

i believe your price is too high. alot of online places sell it for around 310 now plus rebate. i would lower it in teh sub 300 range if you plan on selling anywhere.

very tempting... This was my first lens and I didn't realize how much I liked it until I got stuck with the 50 1.8 :hsd:

I'd have to sell some shiiiit to buy it though

After having the semi-wide angle + zoom capabilities of the Tamron, the 50 seems limiting. Although the 1.8 aperture is nice, I don't really shoot many portraits or low light situations. I've got an AE-1 Program w/ 50 1.8 for street anyway... :hsd:

The 28-75 is just a really nice walk-around lens

I'm shooting with a 50 1.8 now and selling this for a Canon lense......its definatly nice to have the sub 50mm zoom, I would HATE to be stuck with just a 50...

you don't have to sell me on the lens ;)

I might just sell my grip/50 1.8, and some other random crap to afford the lens :noes:
