    OT gets first dibs
Bought/used it mainly back in college to shoot sports for the University paper
Now I very very very very rarely use it on shoots... and i'm saving up for a 5D2 so it just made sense. :wiggle:

What can I say, it's an awesome lens
$1,450 including shipping to lower 48 states
..oh and i just sold the 40D to Kamekaze v.OT, so these pics were taken with my P&S :wtc:

So let me get this straight...you are willing to let go a bomb ass lens ~1300 and pay $3500 to get 5D2 with 24-105.

The wise decision would be to keep your 70-200 and just get 5D2 body.

And that should give you a reason to get 24-70L.

Especially where you seem to do a lot of portraits. The 70-200 is a capable portrait lens. Grab a cheap used 35 f2, and 50 1.8 for a couple hundred to get you by on the wide end. Save up for the 16-35 2.8...

I do hardly use the 70-200 as it is now, but that was with a 40D. I'd imagine I'd use it a lot more on a full-frame sensor
