So lately I've been really shaping up my diet. I wouldn't say I'm on a diet, I'm just making some health conscious decisions. Needless to say, I've been dropping a few pounds which is motivating. My 20 year old cousin (who is not out of shape) recently got diagnosed with cancer, and it runs in my family as well as diabetes, so I'm starting to care about my health and not just getting strong like i used to as a lineman in hs. (i'm currently 20 too.) I've been cutting out sodas or lemonades/sweet teas, and instead drinking diluted unsweetened tea. Instead of getting a bag of chips with my wrap everyday, I'm getting fruit. i cut out all greasy foods and fried foods, and im trying to lower my red meat intake too. I crave burgers and fried chicken everyday, but it's not unbearable. I've also been eating 1-2 bananas each day, and I didn't realize how many calories they had. I was wondering what you guys thought about bananas or fruits in general since i know they are sugary. I figured they are a better option than a bag of chips, but they are almost the same caloric intake. Thanks.
