    Today I was told by a personall trainer (ran into them at work) that you shouldnt eat too many fruits because of the sugar or something, we dindt really have time to speak but it was briefly brought up.

    True, False?

    Fruits = Bad!??

    while this is true, this doesn't mean you shouldn't eat them at correct times and count them into your daily total (not saying you weren't saying this, andrew.. just letting the OP know)

    yeah i rarely, RARELY eat fruit. i get my vit/min's from my multi and Aox's from the ridiculous amount of green tea i eat. :cool:

    fruits are just lots of sugar, very little fiber, and some vitamins/minerals which can be obtained elsewhere

    i eat at least 2 cucumbers a day, and a ton of pickles too. Seems ok to me some fruits are high in sugar though, like apples and oranges and i think tomatoes too.

    There nice, but there just carbs and sugar mostly.

    Is avocado considered a fruit? I use it in my diet for bulking. Lots of good fats.

    As long as you stay within your caloric intake for the day fruit is fine. I try and eat them in the morning or after a workout though so the carbs go to better use.

    My brother lives on fruit, he often has just a bowl of fruit for lunch, than nothing till dinner.

    I guess thats why he's stupidly skinny.
