Ive had my sights set on a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner 4-door, however i saw a 2003 Nissan Frontier 4 door today.
    Price on Nissan:13,000
    Price on Toyota:16,000

not sure on milage, but based on these choices, what would you choose?

The Nissan for obvious reasons, but if you don't mind spending 16k on a used Toyota, could you at least wait wait for the new Frontiers to hit the lots?

I have to disagree with hisxlnc :wtc:
I'd take the toyota, the frontier were underpowered even SC.

toyota is twice the truck of a nissan. Ask any Nissan truck owner why they bought theirs. They will always say because it was cheaper than a toyota. Translation=I couldn't afford the extra money or I am paying for it now :o

Not too different than the current Frontier before the discounts.

I went with the Frontier myself. I looked at the 'yota, but I wanted the 4door long bed option so I went with the Nissan. Also, being sc'ed and cheaper didn't hurt either.

You're comparing the I4 nissan vs. the V6 Toyota.

Taco, made this choicee 2 years ago but also had the ranger edge in the mix, picked the ranger because of the price and size if the yota dealers weren't such dicks I would be driving a taco :hs:

Frontier wasn't even close to being a top choice.

What's your point? The Frontier still has more power.

which do you think is going to last longer a supercharger 4 or toyotas v6. Consider that in the equation

for a 4 door, i'd rather get a frontier than a tacoma. and i drive a tacoma. i don't like the way the 4 door tacoma looks. but if it were an xtra cab i would go with my tacoma.

ok, they said it was a 4. You can also get a SC on the toyota from the factory, but bump the price up another 3600 or so

I wouldn't get the Nissan based on the poor offset frontal crash rating alone.

For $19600, you could just buy a new Frontier with almost as much power and no hair dryer to eventually wear out. :dunno:
