Bolding the interesting parts.
Well known powerlifter has ideas that go against conventional thinking, film at 11.
"When did you start training with weights?
I started weight training at age 18. Right from the start I was strong. The first time I ever lifted I squatted 500lbs and deadlifted 600 pounds. Lads from the gym thought I had trained before, but no, it was my first time. That's when it all started."
Sounds like he's playing on a different field than most. lol
Westside methods are only conventional in America really.
And even then, it is only "conventional" in monolift/double ply feds. Most USAPL/IPF guys in America do not train with Westside methods.
Just sayin.. not trying to start an argument.
He doesn't use any bands or chains either.. so it just shows there are plenty ways to skin a cat.
look at the logs on EFS for more examples of this...tons of different shit people do...
