And it means 1 of 2 things.

Either I'm really close to getting my purple.

Or he got promoted to early.

    I'm leaning towards option 2.

I want to be happy for him, but hes only barely better than me and I'm no where close.

    Corey.

Love the guy to death, hes a great athlete. But hes not a purple belt.

    Hes an extremely athletic blue.

I think he got it because he beat Alex in that tourny.

I think we can both agree that he out powered alex and not out techniqued him.

Broli is better. I have an offense against corey, broli shut me down.

And I own a gi :squint:

Wow...no...he's not a purple belt, at all. He's a good wrestler, but his technique is so far from purple, especially in a gi. Wow.

He's like me, the boy very rarely puts on a gi.

Hes better than me, but not significantly. I beat him all the time.

I want to go roll with him now :o

nobody really goes to that crap. theres nothing like the level of competition on the west coast fool. theres a bjj school on every other block, and a tournament every 3 weeks.

I've heard Blue to Purple is usually the longest timespan.

I've heard the same. I guess that all depends on the school though.

Almost 4 years of this and I still don't have a gi. I'm going to be a no/white belt forever :wtc:
