FreeBSD Data Recovery Help!!

    i have a freeBSD drive that is completely dead, anyone know any good data recovery programs that recognize freebsd partitions (UFS) and may be able to recovery my data!!

    What do you mean completely dead? Does it spin? If not, there's no software out there that can help you.

    Can you hook it up as a secondary disk or another target in another box and mount the file systems? Or are you looking for a disaster recovery solution that is mucho $$$.

    No it doesn't spin.. it makes a clicking sound when the hard drive powers up... It's a 40 gig IBM drive..

    Then there's nothing out that any user or admin can do. You will have to send to those DR specialists. Good luck.
