I signed up for the free offer when I bought my PowerMac in October. Haven't gotten an issue yet though.

Good call. I was too excited when I got my Powerbook to look through all the papers in the box.

Damn, just went through all of our shit that came with the Macs and nothing that I could see. What did it look like? Was it just a postcard or something?

I've gotten MacAddict for over a year. They've been sending me cancellation notices every week for the past 6 months. They are too pussy to stop sending me the magazine though, it's nice.

GUYs .. REGISTER your mac, and it will give you a subscription as a gift. i believe it's down to 3/6 months instead of a full year now. just a headsup.

also, the magazines dont cover anything you wouldnt find out by going to MacNN.com.

everything i read in those mags i've read on MacNN a month or two ahead of time...

Well I checked out an issue of MacWorld at the store tonight and can not believe they charge $6 for that thing. MD is the same price and 3 times the thickness filled with the same stuff.
