I've got the shakes like crazy the last hour. I ate a can of albacore tuna in water and drank a bottle of water then i just started getting the shakes :wtf:
Does anyone know why this is going on? I'm not on any pills (caffiene, ECY, diet pills, etc.) besides fish oil which i just took after eating a chicken breast. I thought that if I ate they would go away but they aren't. :hs:

I thought that this was going to be about protein shakes. Probably low blood sugar.

  10. then expect the shakes. no carbs, no blood sugar == shakes

typically not as bad as time goes on, but I can't speak for a cyclical diet.

are you on a ckd sort of deal or something that only pays attention to carbs, period?

maintaining a safe blood sugar is more important than having a few carbs. Take 25g of dextrose and have a nice, balanced meal about an hour afterwards - that should do the trick

the diet i'm on pays attention to carbs, protein and fats. it only cycles the carbs though.

it still limits my cal intake as well. of course on the high carb day i will be getting more cals than on no carb day but the overall weekly/monthly amount of cals is a deficit. that's how it was explained to me. today i only had 1300 cals but it was a no carb day. tomorrow on high carb i will probably have 1500-1600.

well he wants me to eat 2 higher fat protein sources (ie, loin cut steaks, dark chicken, dark turkey, whole eggs, whole milk cottage cheese) and 4 lean proteins (white meat chicken, white meat turkey, fish, tuna, fat free cottage cheese, etc)
i also have to eat 3 cups of veggies every day.
and on carb days when i have my carb meals i am to eat a small fruit with each carb meal. i get 4 carb meals on high carb days and three on low carb days.
i'm also on 10g of fish oil caps everyday.

you're getting too technical. Just eat clean, eat a below maintenace amount of calories, an abundance of protein, and watch the weight drop.
