FRANZ FERDINAND played their first live show of 2005 last night. The band headlined a bill at the London Royal Albert Hall (April 5), which also featured appearances from Kaiser Chiefs, Graham Coxon and a short acoustic set from Magic Numbers. All four acts appeared for free, and proceeds from the show are to be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust. During Franz� set, the band played four previously unreleased songs - �Your Diary� and �This Boy�, �Wee Andy� and �Evil Heathen�. �Your Diary� and �This Boy� were completely reworked from last year's live shows, while �Wee Andy� and �Evil Heathen� were trademark Franz, and likely to feature on the band�s forthcoming second album, due later this year.
