Here's a vid of Frank Mir being interviewed by a hot chick at the Maxim party after UFC 102. His mouth was in fine form, commenting on Nog, Anderson, Fedor, Forrest and more.

Frank Mir thinks Fedor saying he has nothing to prove is sad - Video

'excuses' for Nog's performance against Mir:

"Rogan was making alot of excuses for certain fighters for why they performed badly. That always dissapoints me for the reason being: every fighter has reasons why we don't perform to 100%. I don't think as fans we want to hear heroes or warriors sitting there complaining that they nearly died of staph... I think that's pretty sad and pathetic."

Why would you never fight Randy?

"I look up to him. I have a certain viciousness in the way I fight. Thats why some people have steel plates inside their body. I dont know if I could enter with the same kind of viciousness towards Randy. I respect him so much - I don't want to have any excuses as to why I would lose to him. If I can think of a reason why I wouldnt perform to 100% - I avoid it. I don't know 100% if I had him caught cold turkey that I would crank him. Thankfully I'm thirty..he's 46 - eventually it will catch up to him so maybe I can avoid him"

(gee, how merciful of you Frank).

    A fight with Anderson?

Amongst applauding Silva's skill Frank says:

"Some of the things he does it seems so scripted, so unbelievable."

Another compliment or a subtle suggestion about Andersons last fight?

Fedor saying he has nothing to prove?

"Thats a sad statement...the minute you think you have nothing to prove? Retire, go home and disappear."

To Franks credit, he remained humble about his loss to Brock, and defended Forrest's perfomance against Anderson:

"People who find that loss embarrassing are at home on their couch watching the TV, never competing or risking embarrassment themselves."

Mir makes a lot of declarative statements, doesn't he? He's still got a lot of maturing to do.

I liked what he said about Forrest losing but I think he forgot that Forrest ran out of the ring crying. That can be embarrassing.

I wish they would. I would love to see Nog shut him up for good.

I've said a lot of the negative shit about Nogueira... That he was washed up, worn out, done. I bet a guy at work $20 that Mir would destroy him.

After seeing this weekend's fight, I take a lot of it back. He did look like crap in his first 3 UFC fights, but if Mir had fought on Saturday instead of Couture, we'd still be waiting for the Mir-Lesnar rematch.

    In for Mir/Nogueira 2.

The only reason Mir was anywhere near the title picture was on the strength of his win over Lesnar.

And I think being hospitalized for a week, 3 weeks before the fight, along with fighting on a torn knee, is a valid reason for a poor performance. Not an excuse.
