Can't post the article because I'm my phone. Hopefully the link works. I haven't seen any links on CNN/Foxnews yet...

I doubt these guys walked into a hotel lobby with big gun cases...

This first "attempt" (and I use that word in the loosest way possible) was sooner than I thought, but I knew that sooner or later someone would try to take out Obama.

Which seems to be par for the course for people that aspire to do bad things. I'm reminded of the 5 muslims who planned to attack fort dix who were caught last year when they took their jihad video to the store for duplication. It might as well be me plotting to seduce angelina jolie. Sure its a plan, its just never going to happen :big grin:

You do realize these guys are being held on bullshit charges, while they assess if it is even a valid thread? Not much different from the other guy, so why isn't WMD rallying for these guys? We're violating their rights too.

They dont sound like bullshit charges to me. Drug and illegal weapons possession are valid in my book.

Saying someone carrying a rifle in a locked rifle case is carrying concealed is a little out there.

What charges do think are going to wind up being bogus?

I can't even begin to imagine that you're comparing the two. In one we have a traveling businessman with his guns locked in a case being arrested. In this one we have a couple meth users arrested with one of them making statements confirming the threats against obama to the press and has already told police they intended to shoot someone! Can you really not tell the difference between people who admit they intent to commit a crime and those who are transporting firearms legally?

that alone is enough to hold someone

 Stolen rifle + warrant + confession of guilt = bullshit charges. Clearly this shows why we should arrest all gun owners on sight when around democrats.

Guess what, that guy was technically concealing his weapon with out a license as well. It was hidden in a bag separate from his rifle cases and he "forgot" to tell police.

They are bullshit charges because those are just charges to hold them on, not what they are holding them for.

Same shit, but because these guys look like tools, and were not going on a hunting trip it's ok.

he's saying that these charges have nothing to do with their final intent which is to assassinate the black man

but they admitted they wanted to kill obama so what's the point?

they won't be seeing outside of a prison for the next few decades

there's a HUGE difference in 'transporting' and concealing' a weapon.

    Quit being stupid.

Not as an '03 you can't:rofl:

...and ignoring the problem won't make it go away. That takes unrelenting ridicule and name calling.

:wtc: I was caught in a 30 day idle purge while moving into my dorm room my freshman year of college and having our T1 down.... I want my Nov 01 status back dammit.

I may ridicule later.... but I have too much meth to smoke, hope I don't get caught and held on bogus charges of doing illegal drugs
