I can't remember the nubmers i did back then, but they were horrible. They went up alot i remember not being able to bench the bar with 10lbs'er on it :o. I gotta give alot of props to the people on this board because i learned alot from you guys. I was doing too much isolation exercises and not enough compound movements. My weight was stuck at 210 for a long time. But after i started taking yalls advice it went up to 225.

Yeah i started eating everything in sight about 3 months ago. Now i do 6-7 meals a day, On the days i don't work i squeeze in a 8th one. This helped me gain some weight in the last 2 months. Somebody in a previous thread told me to eat some EFA's before bed and that has helped me alot too.

yeah during highschool i was really overweight, i was like 240-250lbs. And then i decided to loose weight and got down to 185. I did it really unhealthy though, not eating at all or only once a day. Then i would make myself throw up, it was really bad, i was doing ~2 hrs of cardio every day. I was obsessed with losing weight, like some little girl or something. I think i lost alot of muscle that way because when i started picking up weights i was really weak and could barely move the lightest ones.

jesus christ... thats the definition of bulimia. did you get help or did you have the will power to stop that behavior yourself? most bulimics need professional help to change their ways

Yeah, it is impressive, I could maybe do 15-20lbs in a year but it would be wayy hard

I dont understand how people can not gain weight. I've gained over 50 lbs in 7 months. Put the food in your mouth and love it and it will love you

I have really good self control and was able to stop it myself. It was getting out of hand for a while though. I still remember how weak I felt and how i hated looking in the mirror and seeing this really skinny guy, but i was still obsessed with losing more weight. Eventually i just stopped it and started getting more serous about weight lifting. Being heavily overweight can really mess with your mind, so i have alot of respect for the people that lose weight the healthy way and don't cheat like i did.

:werd: just make sure you keep a serious focus any gains that you make. you have already experienced an eating disorder which shows its in you, make sure you dont let it get out of hand again - it can sneak up on you.

props for realizing a problem and fixing it. most people couldnt do that

everyones body is different. just because it was easy for you to gain weight doesnt mean that another guy will be able to do it just as easily.

i gained about 7 pounds in my first 2 and a half weeks of bulking..after 2 months i'll be up 20 pounds at this rate. 50-60 over a year shouldn't be too hard if you're motivated to do it :dunno:
