It's used. Should I jump on it? Normally I'd say that no handgun is worth that much but they go for $2 grand new. Are they really worth it?

I wish I could take it out to the range and put at least a couple of mags through it. Honestly I don't think they look any better than the average 1911. I could apply a similar finish for next to nothing.

have you even seen the other custom 1911 makers out there?
    Nighthawk Custom
    Les Baer
    Yost-Bonitz
    Novak
the list goes on and on....wilson makes a damn good pistol but from what ive heard, their quality aint quite as high as it had been in the past.
I might be wrong. Ive fondled a CQB in the past. It was nice but not any nicer than a smith 1911.

I've seen the other high end 1911s. I'd love to have the oppurtunity to shoot one but I don't see it happening in the near future. The gun stores tend not to let you shoot them unless they know you're genuinely interested.

The names of the guys who made the gun are included with the rest of the paperwork. I guess I could just try to get those names.

It's in REALLY nice shape. I might have to sell some of my other guns and go pick it up :x:.

It's a 5" and even if it does have a super high round count I should only have to change the springs. Even if I bought it brand new it would have a high round count in no time, anyway :dunno:.
