I've been running a forum on the XMB software for about 5 years now. With each upgrade I lose features from my previous version and have to reinstall all of the hacks every time. It's also become very limited in functionality.

I've been thinking about upgrading to vbulletin, but wanted to see if it was a worth while upgrade for $200?

It's worth it, a lot easier to mod/change things around, better functions, you can add a lot of "hacks" to modify it even further. I'm sure you already have done your research though. ;) A little advice though is don't lease it unless you think you're not going to make it. If you are confident, buy it as owned you always have the option of selling it to someone else after x months, and loose maybe $40/60, but at least you can decided to keep it or sell it later on. Good luck man.

I would absolutely buy it as owned. The forum isn't going away any time soon as it does pull a decent profit and funds itself.
