    On OT using VBB we can copy images directly into a post. Are there any other free forums that do this? Or possibly free forums + a mod?

    I tried Invision Board, PHPBB and UBB so far without success (at least without mods)

    Other forums seem like a real pain in the arse without this feature :ugh2:

    If I understand correctly, you're having issues when having images being displayed when using bbcode?

    I believe this has to be enabled in the administrative panel on all of the mentioned software you've mentioned.

    OT's editor isn't stock ... I've been to other VB's that don't act this way. Honestly I don't like it, it's a pain in the ass to me.

    The only thing that isn't stock on this one is the smilies box.

    This is stock:

    If that's what you're referring to.

    Its because the reply box has a TinyMCE editor attached to it. You can copy and paste stuff into a TinyMCE textarea box and get the same results.

    :bigthumb::cool:

    I find it helpful for copy pasting news articles or whole posts etc :dunno:

    I know VBB 3.7.3 has it built in. Other forum software seems to suck.

    If you or your users can't figure out how to use a simple bbcode, then you should really rethink your forum and/or members.
