titoortiz So the match has been set!!!! Forrest vs Ortiz 2 live Nov 21st Las Vegas PPV. Let the Punishment begin!!!!8 minutes ago from Sidekick

wow, thought they would throw another can at Tito to get him going. This is definately going to be a difficult fight for him

and if Forrest loses, that will be 3 in a row, what will Dana do with him after it

    :noes:

It would be 3 in a row against Rashad, Anderson, and Tito. Not a bad bunch to lose to.

Forrest won't lose to Tito though.

I know it would be 3 quality opponents but let's face it, Dana and the UFC have to quick of a trigger finger when it comes to releasing fighters. And a 3 fight losing streak always seems to be the catalyst.

It will be a good fight, I hope Forrest bounces back and I would love to see the Tito of old just to shut up the people that talk endless shit about him

I dont think Dana and company would do that to Forrest cause of his fight with Bonnar.

Tito's GnP from in guard + Forrest's amazingly sloppy guard could be disaster. If the fights stays on the feet it will be a boring win for Forrest.

No way Forrest makes the cover of UFC 2009, then gets the boot months later. I'd love to see Tito in top form, but most of his contemporaries have been sucking ass recently (crocop, chuck, etc)

 @ Griffen getting the boot, he could lose 5 straight and the ufc would not boot him. Tito by boring decision.

Awesome. This has been a long awaited rematch that I wanted to see. This should be great, especially with a newly motivated (hopefully) Griffin and a newly focused (and rebuilt) Ortiz.

This is going to be a war. But I have a feeling Tito Ortiz is going to come out better than ever.

PS: UFC would never give Forrest Griffin the boot. Dana White loves this guy and His match with Bonner is "the match" that made the UFC, according to Dana.

    he might

Tito posed a problem for Rashad, and should've/would've won that fight if he weren't docked that point. i see Tito possibly doing what Rashad did to Forrest, except more grinding this time around

I don't think it's that big a deal, since the first two losses were against the champion and a guy who's never lost in the UFC. Neither Tito nor Forrest is a can, either. Should be a good fight.

Forrest isn't going anywhere even if he loses. He is too good a draw even with 3 straight losses, Dana loves him because of this exact fight, he will fight anyone pretty much anytime, and his fight with Bonner put the UFC on the map.

I could see this fight going either way, I think alot may depend on how back Tito's back really was prior to the surgery.

Good matchmaking, but I think this has the potential to be a pretty boring fight.

Forrest wins by boring decision on the feet. Tito wins by boring decision on the ground.

What his newfound back? He said before he fight Lyoto his back didnt bother him one bit. Tito of old was a tito that beat up B level competition, at best. Back when he was "good" the sport didnt have half as many talented fighters.

    Forrest, 29-28.

Would be awesome to see- cause i think Cane would win. Cane is rumored to be fighting lil nog @ 106...

actually, 106 is shaping up to be a nice card
    • Champ Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin (for UFC heavyweight title)
    • Forrest Griffin vs. Tito Ortiz
    • Luiz Cane vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira*
    • Ricardo Almeida vs. Jon Fitch*
    • Dustin Hazelett vs. Karo Parisyan*
    PRELIMINARY CARD (un-aired)
    • Phil Baroni vs. Amir Sadollah
    • Marcus Davis vs. Ben Saunders
    • Jason Dent vs. George Sotiropoulos

Almeida and Fitch could actually be a really good ground fight, as well as Karo and Hazelett
