so if he grows a big beard like Tony De Souza did when he's in Peru, I guess you'll be a big Dave Terrell fan ;)

How much do you want to bet he pulls out of the Peace Corps at the last second due to illness/injury?

Report: Dave Terrell Could Return to UFC in 2007

Posted by UFC Junkie on June 21, 2007 at 9:00 am ET

Oft-injured former middleweight contender Dave Terrell (6-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC)
could return to the UFC as soon as this year — and he’d do so as a 205-pounder, according to the official Web site for Gracie Fighting.
Terrell, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Cesar Gracie, is largely considered one of the world’s top grapplers. However, when it comes to mixed-martial arts, he’s experienced a series of ups and downs.
Terrell’s career started on a high note when he made his Octagon debut at UFC 49 and scored a shocking, 24-second knockout of MMA legend Matt Lindland. The victory made Terrell an overnight contender, and in his next fight, he battled — and lost to — Evan Tanner for the vacant UFC middleweight championship.
Injuries soon took their toll, though, and Terrell has competed professionally just once in the past 24 months. He submitted Scott Smith at UFC 59 (April 2006), but he had to pull out of UFC 62 and UFC 66 fights with Yushin Okami because of injuries.
    However, according to GracieFighter.com:
Now injury free and wanting a piece of the pie, Terrell eyes a return to fighting. This time however he seems determined to fight at the 205lbs weight limit instead of his recent 185lbs outings. The drastic weight cut to 185 proved too demanding and often left him drained of energy and susceptible to sickness. We should see Dave back in the UFC at the new weight mark later this year and those of us who know him can’t wait.
At 29 years old, Terrell could still have a long career ahead of him. However, the UFC’s 205-pound division has experienced a recent surge in talent — and the 185-pound middleweight division has slowly become one of the UFC’s weakest. By moving up a weight class, Terrell’s not making a possible UFC return any easier.
