    Got my stamp in the mail today. Form 1 on a trust. Off to pick up my barrel and then it's time to form Voltron. Pics later (5" 9mm AR).

    Mailed - Dec 5th
    Pending - Feb 11th
    Approved - Feb 23th
    Mailbox - Feb 26th

    It's 9mm, barrel length after a certain point isn't going to affect velocity much.

    I thought 9mm reached maximum velocity in 9-10" barrels?

    I feel that if you're going to pay to have it short, minus whale cut it short. If you want it to have the maximum amount of velocity in any caliber, then it makes no sense to SBR it.

    No science behind it, other than I like how the 5" AR's look.

    Where'd you get the rubber cover for the brass deflector?

    Sorry I forgot to respond to this. That's not a rubber cover, that's the actual deflector and it came included on the upper receiver.
