I've tried it all for the last 6 months and my total growth, NOTHING.

This is from wrist curls, rope twist, plate pinches, etc. Someone has to know a trick or can I officially call it 100% genetics? I see people who don't even train with bigger forearms than me, it's getting pathetic. I've never once used a strap a day in my life, so there's no other reasons why I should be lagging in that area

it will only get as big as to stay in proportion with your wrist circumference.

Nothing hits my forearms like deadlifts- -but now that I have an injured back and can't deadlift, I just really try and grip the shit out of everything. Squeeze real tight especially with heavy dumbell work. My forearms still feel shredded after stuff like DB bench and db incline

Also, I've found that doing extended hold lifts works real well too. Like I'll do a 4x8 shrug sets and never put the weights down. Or maybe put em down once after the second set.

Seems to work way better than forarm curls

I just started doing rotating db flat bench. Start with them fists inward then as you go up rotate your wrist to face outward. I really felt it in my forearms and wrists after a good set.

242 last measurement, 264 this measurement. I'd say so.

I deadlift 565x3 (strapless) and have 5 year old girl forearms

I've been doing wrist twist? with 30 lb DB's over this time period, basically the same movement you are referring to

Weird. I guess it might be genetic then. I only pull 405 strapless but I've actually gotten compliments from guys in the gym on my forearms, asking what I do for em.

Ehh the more I think about it, the more likely it seems to me that it is genetic. I have friends who have rediculously jacked forarms but don't even deadlift beyond light SLDL's.

I don't have the convience of sitting at a desk all day, but I do actually do my wrist roller every night and I do about 4-5 sets of them (until the fatigue is too much). I'm using 45# on a 3' string

Thats not that much. The forearms can take beating and recover fast. Double your volume for a month and see what happens.

i don't do anything for forearms. just the regular gripping weights for deadlifts, pull-ups, rows, whatever. i'd say i have OK forearms, they could be better. at least they are somewhat vascular so they kinda look cool.
