Hey, you unethical pieces of dog shit, I appreciate your bullshit trying to wait to tell me something is wrong with my car the visit RIGHT after my warranty expires, but fuck you. You, Ford, are paying for the shit that has BEEN WRONG for several visits now, because YOU didn't fix it before when it was under warranty. GO FUCK YOURSELF.

I will never buy a fucking ford again.

edit: I KNOW BRAKES ARE NOT COVERED.

The tie rod (cause of the squeaking they tell me) is the problem, which I've been complaining about for some time now. Now that the warranty is up, they want to finally fix it.

    Cliffs of what happened:

Ford dealership says I don't need to have my rear brakes replaced yet, and they should be good for another several thousand miles. They replaced the front pads and right front rotor though. Fine.

I take it in today, they now need to replace the rear rotors and pads...:wtf: God damn liars.

Also, for several visits i have been taking it for constant squeaking coming from the front. "It's the aftermarket cold air intake" they say. Ok, sure, believeable.

This time, something about tie rod needing to be replaced and shit. Coincidently, this is the 1st time in after my extended warranty expired, and all of a sudden, shit has hit the fan. FUCK THAT. The brakes could have been avoided if they replaced them when I first requested it. This tie rod shit majestically appeared out of thin air? I don't think so.

    :madfawk: FORD :madfawk:

Total thus far = $800 for rear rotors + pads & tie rod replacement/repair...I kinda blanked on the part about the tie rod because I was so fucking pissed about the total cost, i just started into describing why this is unacceptable. I'll be taking this HORSESHIT up with the regional manager. IBnothinghappensandfordfucksmeoverhard

Honestly that doesn't sound like a manufacturer issue.. More like a really shitty dealership.. That really sucks though..

Problem is, I like this dealership and went there over one closer to my work because the other one is...the one that told me my rears were fine.

So, basically this boils down to 2 shitty dealerships.

I took them else where once, local guy, pretty good rep in the area, but im pressed for time and had it in for an oil change anyway, so I figured i'd let them look at it. I need the damn car back ASAP so I can't really take it somewhere else, in this situation at least. Ford will be paying for most of this, I can garun-fucking-tee it.

I tend to be one of those customers that gets what I want. This will be no different.

I keep all my service receipts + documents. I'll show them when it was in for brakes and that they were not replaced when requested, PAYING FOR THE BRAKES ALSO ftw!

Why don't you fix it yourself or shut the fuck up.

  17. I noticed youre in maryland. Which stealership was it?

Also, never let mechanics work on your car. Always do work yourself. :nono:

    Stealerships sabotage. This is truth.

    With that said,

    Ford reliability >

family has owned 10+ fords, we know a thing or two about their reliability :bigthumb:

Ummm, the dealership service department has no reason to hold off on repairs until you are out of warranty. The warranty will pay for their service on your car if you had the work done. Plus, brakes are not covered under warranty anyways. It isn't their fault that you brake hard and wear out your pads early.

Never let mechanics work on your car? That might have been true if we still lived in the 50's. Some of the newer cars require a scanner to bleed the brakes. Never let mechanics/technicians work on your car...

    .

I had a big issue with my car about a year ago. Got it "fixed" at the dealership for $175. When I picked it up and drove out the problem was still happening - this was the third visit to the dealership at this point. I went back and got the manager involved. Ended up driving a new (at the time) mustang around for 2 days (because their rental car place was closed by then) while they fixed my car for free, and they also refunded what I had paid previously.

Planet Ford > * for customer service.
