I read the nutrition stickies and the one on eating right, and where it lists all foods that are good to eat.

What I dont understand is people who say do 30/30/20 or whatever percentages. How do I know what percentage of what Im eating?

Also, what defines a "small meal". That is what confuses me the most is what constitutes the small meal I guess.

So it would be great if some of you guys could post some example of small meals you guys may eat.

    Thanks for the help.

Thats what Im confused about..you say rice/chicken, but how much chicken? Do you actually just measure it out, or eat 2-3 chicken breasts?

small amounts of chicken breast have a surprisingly large amount of protein. off the top of my head a large chicken breast probably has about 70-80g of protein.

I use a modified version of the "For anyone who wants to look like a body builder" I use smaller portions of certain things since im cutting, doing around 2100cals off days and 2300 workout days (mostly cause of my postworkout protein shake which is 210cals)

Meal 1 = 1 cup oats, 4 egg whites, 2 whole egg, 3 slices ham, coffee

Meal 2 = 2 cheese sticks (low fat), handful of mixed nuts

Meal 3 = 2 chicken breasts, 2 cups broccoli, 1/2 cup brown rice

Meal 4 = Protein shake (2 scoop), banana or apple

Meal 5 = 4 oz whole wheat pasta, 9 oz ground beef, 1 cup pasta sauce, veggies

Meal 6 = 1 cup cottage cheese, whole wheat crackers, low fat yogurt

    - That is average, cutting gets less food (mostly less carbs) and when on a bulk basically the same but just more of everything.
